Why I chose Squarespace over Wordpress

If you're reading this you're probably stuck on which platform you want to choose. I was also there stuck trying to research the benefits of each platform. I wanted to be able to design a beautiful website without having to do too much Custom CSS and that's exactly what Squarespace was able to provide for me. I want to share with you all some of the reasons why I chose Squarespace over WordPress.

For starters I didn't want to go through the trouble of buying a domain name from one provider, then having to research who the best hosting server is. Some hosts don't provide any support and most hosts only take in support requests by tickets or email and this can be quite frustrating. Squarespace has everything integrated in one platform, no need to go looking for a domain provider or hosting servers, you can do it all there! Another thing to ask when searching for a hosting server is if they include an email address for free. That's another reason why I went with Squarespace my Gmail G Suite was included for my first year!

Squarespace also has tons of beautifully designed templates that you're able to choose from. The templates support a range of different content types from Blogs, Galleries, Restaurants, Pages, and more. You're also allowed to install multiple templates onto your website and work on multiple designs at once.

One of the main reasons why I decided to go with Squarespace though was because of how user friendly it was. You're able to customize your website by using a drag and drop menu that they have. You're easily able to add an image, text, spacer, button, quote, newsletter, calendar, social blocks, you name it! I'm not an expert code hacker and I wasn't about to drown in the sea of plugins that Wordpress has. With Squarespace you need absolutely no coding knowledge in order to build the site you've always dreamed of!

Another reason why I chose Squarespace over Wordpress was because of the 24/7 customer support they offer to their clients. With WordPress you're essentially on your own. You need help with a plugin you're having issues with? You and Google are about to become the best of friends. With Squarespace there's always a team ready to help you if you have any questions, and most questions have already been answered for you on their forums so chances are the answer you're looking for is already on there so wait time is little to none.

I could probably ramble for the rest of the day about why I decided to go with Squarespace instead of WordPress but I don't want to keep you here all day!

Let's quickly recap why I went with Squarespace:
